Vietnam War Veterans and All Veterans Reunion

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the above event in Kokomo, Indiana. The original event was a 2-part event, with a "Sandbox" reunion in June and then the Vietnam Veteran reunion in September. Both events were combined last year into one event lasting close to a week.
If you are interested in attend the reunion, you should make your travel and hotel reservations as soon as feasible for you. Most hotels in the area allow a cancellation of the reservation with one or two days notice (verify with the hotel where you are staying). The Quality Inn in Kokomo, where we have been staying is currently offering a $73 per night room rate but it charges $78. per night if you want the free cancellation clause. The closer you get to the reunion date, the higher the hotel rate is if they are not already sold out.

Your best bet is to make your reservation over the internet at Choice Hotel.com as the hotel desk may not have the same rate if you phone. For those wanting a golf cart to help them get around the camp site rentals are available via Stephanie at P&P Cart Rentals, ph. # 317-831-4283. Cart rates are usually $40, per day for a 2-seater, slightly more for a 4-seater.
